Patients and electronic health records

Step-by-step guides to create and manage patients, record clinical visits, use electronic health records and access each patient's complete history.

Create a new patient

Enter the left sidebar menu.

Click on Patients.

Select the New patient button in the top right.

Complete the form blocks:
  • Patient information (first name, last name, gender, cell phone, telephone).
  • Contact information (address, email, country, city, date of birth).
  • Emergency contact (optional).

Click Save.

The patient is registered in the system with a unique virtual file, centralizing all their clinical and administrative information and facilitating long-term follow-up.

Manage existing patients

Go to Patients from the main menu.

Use the search box to find the patient by name, last name, email or phone.

Select the patient from the table.

Access the action menu to:
  • View profile.
  • Schedule a new appointment.
  • Access their clinical record.

Centralized patient management provides quick access to key data, reduces administrative errors and improves coordination among healthcare team members.

Record a clinical visit correctly

Go to Patients and select the patient.

Access their virtual file.

Navigate to the Clinical Records section.

Click Add.

Select the corresponding clinical record type.

Complete the required clinical information during the visit.

Use Sign and save to finalize the record.

Structured visit recording ensures traceability, legal backup and care continuity, keeping information organized and available for future consultations.

Proper use of electronic health records

Access the patient's virtual file.

Go to the Clinical Records section.

Review the chronological list of clinical records.

Select a record to view its full content.

Electronic health records allow each visit to be documented in an orderly, secure and chronological way, facilitating clinical reading and reducing reliance on paper records.

Quick access to patient history and progress

Go to Patients.

Select the patient from the list.

Review the virtual file sections:
  • Patient summary.
  • Recorded clinical records.
  • Previous appointments and visits.
  • Associated documents.

The virtual file centralizes history and clinical progress in one place, enabling the professional to make informed decisions quickly and improve continuity of patient care.
